Sienna Blouse

The Sienna Blouse is a minimalist ribbed sweater featuring a boat neckline and a close-fitting silhouette. The simple shape combined with the textured rib pattern creates an elegant, timeless look inspired by classic 1990s knitwear.

The Sienna blouse is worked from the top down in rib pattern. The back is worked back and forth using German Short Rows. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, which are shaped with increases to form the neckline. Next, stitches are picked up along the shoulder edges for the sleeve caps, and the yoke is worked in the round while increasing for both the sleeves and the body. Once the yoke is complete, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while the body is worked in the round. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round, and the neckline and armholes are finished with simple picked-up edges for a clean and elegant finish.
