Nea Hood is a small wrap-around balaclava scarf that is both practical and stylish. The garment is worked from the top down in 1x1 rib, without any seaming. First, a rectangle is worked to form the top of the head. Stitches are then picked up along the sides, and the balaclava is continued back and forth. Finally, the work is divided at the back of the neck, and each section is worked as a scarf with decreases along the side facing the neck.
