Embla Sweater

Embla Sweater is an oversized sweater worked in high-quality wool from Lofoten. It is worked top-down with dropped saddle shoulders. The sweater is worked seamlessly, meaning no stitches need to be picked up for the sleeves. The shoulders are worked separately first, then stitches are picked up for the upper back, which is worked back and forth using German short rows. Stitches are then picked up for the left and right front, and all parts are joined on one needle and worked back and forth while increasing for the neckline and sleeves. Stitches are then cast on between the fronts, and the work is joined in the rnd while continuing sleeve increases. The body, sleeves, and neckband are finished in rib.

Size guide: Embla Sweater is designed to have approx. 35–45 cm [13¾–17¾ in] of positive ease. Sizes 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 correspond to a bust measurement of: 80–86 (87–93) 94–100 (101–107) 108–115 cm [31½–34 (34¼–36½) 37–39¼ (39¾–42) 42½–45¼ in].
